Beth Royce is a TikTok user in Pennsylvania. She was conned into giving $500 to a caller claiming he had abducted her sister.

Royce described her ‘terrifying experience’ in a TikTok clip that lasted just three minutes. The video has received over 6.6 Million views.

Royce explains how she was woken at 7.20 a.m. when she received a telephone call. It appeared that it came from her sister. However, Royce heard the voice of a man when she answered her phone. He claimed to have kidnapped his sister and wanted money.

Royce claimed that when she received the call, her younger sister appeared with her photograph. Beth thought it was her sister who lived in Seattle. She answered the phone and was stunned to find a man screaming at her.

He claimed that he wanted her to send money for him so that he could go home as he just got out of prison. The fraudster told Beth he wasn’t a bad person, and cried.

According to The TikToker’s account, she said the most frightening part of the conversation occurred when she overheard an older woman crying in the background. This she thought was her sister.

Fortunately, Royce didn’t have to go alone; her mom was there as well. After receiving the phone call, she realized that something wasn’t right and ran downstairs to get her mom. Royce’s mother called the police and continued to take the call from her porch.

Her mom called the police and then went to call her sister’s phone number. She picked up. Royce claimed that this was the moment they discovered her sister was safe, and it was a hoax. Royce knew that Royce already had money.
